AKCS Offshore Partner consists of Aker Offshore Partner, SNC-Lavalin and G.J Cahill and Company. The Company was formed in 2002 to pursue contracts for the Atlantic Canada oil and gas industry; targeting opportunities in engineering design, modifications, campaign maintenance, field development and subsea engineering. The partnership brings the strength, talent and skills of two major global engineering and contracting companies together with a local construction company whose combined capabilities and experience can provide the oil and gas industry innovative and effective solutions.

The breadth and depth of capability resident in the partners enables us to deliver all aspects of field development solutions, from early conceptual and system selection work right through to decommissioning and abandonment.

Our team consists of experienced personnel with an in-depth understanding of the oil and gas business. We are fully committed to deliver strong performance and zero harm to people, assets and environment. As an organization, we work systematically to ensure continuous improvement of our HSE culture and performance. We have an HSE performance system that defines our expectations in the areas vital to effective HSE management.

Our Quality management system promotes sound operational controls and commitment to improvement for the benefit of our company and our clients.

Our commitment and continuous improvement activities are demonstrated through the registration of our systems to the ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management System Standard and ISO 9001:2000, Quality Management Standard.

Registration to OHSAS 18001, Occupational Health & Safety Standard is targeted for summer 2008.
