This experience and our extensive experience gained in Norwegian and UK waters enables us to offer expertise on maintenance planning as well as execution.

Through its partner, Aker Solutions, AKCS can offer a proven asset integrity management software application. This system is suitable for all types of inspection, maintenance and construction works, including structural, corrosion management, ship hulls and tanks and underwater/subsea inspection. It provides AKCS with a proven capability to ensure the fitness for purpose of assets, as well as reduce operating and reporting costs of onshore, topsides and subsea IMR operations. The latest version comes complete with CO2 and H2S corrosion modeling functionality.

AKCS is also able to benefit from its global procurement system to optimize the procurement of equipment, and has a worldwide network of suppliers.

Locally, AKCS uses methods established and information and lessons learned from previous Grand Banks maintenance campaigns when planning new work. This approach enables us to implement continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality and cost.
